Terms & Conditions

 

The following T's & C's apply to all bookings once placed!

*Unique Kids Parties can amend or change these terms & conditions at any time. Notice would be provided to all existing customers.


*All services and products offered and available through Unique Kids Parties are subject to availability. 

*A cooling off period is applied to all bookings once placed. This is a 14-day cancellation period where the booking fee/deposit payment is fully refundable. Any cancellations made After 14 days will result in a non-refundable booking fee/deposit.


*A booking fee is required to secure all bookings. Which is deducted from the total balance.

*Discounts are only applicable to the full package price. Only one discount or one promotional offer can be used at one time.

*A travel charge is charged on all bookings outside our trading areas. This charge is 45 pence per mile for an all-round trip. Travel charges are not charged within our trading counties.

*The safety of all guests is the sole responsibility of the policy holder, who must be 18 years or above. 1 adult should be present always during the party. 

*Please check your policy agreement for payment terms. All payments are due in full prior to your party start time.


*In the unlikely event Unique Kids Parties are unable to provide the requested service. Unique Kids Parties will provide what WE FEEL is a suitable alternative. 

*A safe power supply must be provided to Unique Kids Parties at all venues. This excludes Water Wars parties. 

* Please inform our offices if you are having any other entertainment acts alongside our service.

*Unique Kids Parties provide “costumed entertainers” not characters. We do not guarantee any of our entertainers will look, sound or even act like any others you may have seen elsewhere.

*As the customer you are prohibited from using any of our “intellectual property” for business use or to recreate any of our copyrighted materials. 

*We shall not be responsible for any breach of these terms and conditions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. 

*In exceptional circumstances, Unique Kids Parties would ask the policy holder speak with any guests that we feel are behaving in an unacceptable manner. We reserve all rights to ask the policy holder to exclude the guest from the party should we feel it is necessary. Children and their actions remain the full responsibility of their parents, guardians or the policy holder always. 

*Please refrain from having play equipment out during our entertainment time. 

*Outside venues are weather permitting and this includes but not limited to previous rainfall, cold temperatures and wet grounds. We reserve the right to assess the area first. Please have a back-up plan in place just in case. Some games cannot be played outside and changes to the requested service may have to be considered when choosing an outside venue. Please allow a place in the shade for our equipment.

*Parking must be provided to our entertainers. Any parking charges are payable by the customer. Please have the money ready for our entertainer’s arrival. We do not carry cash for parking. 

*Website images are for advertising our costumes only. We do not guarantee the exact entertainer promoting the costume.

*We reserve the right to debit your card for final payment should you fail to meet your policy payment terms. 

*A copy of our complaints and refund procedures are available on request. 

*It is your sole responsibility to check through all your documents forwarded to you from Unique Kids Parties. You must inform us immediately if anything is incorrect.

*CANCELLATIONS* Should you need to cancel your booking up to 7 days prior to your party, the full booking fee will be non-refundable. Unique Kids Parties reserves the right to cancel or amend any booking. 

*TRAVEL PROBLEMS* If we incur any problems once travelling to you, we will inform you by telephone where possible. We accept no responsibility for ANY FORM OF TRAVEL DISRUPTIONS including, but not limited to, traffic jams, breakdown (including us), accidents, extreme weather conditions, Snow, events, flood, diversions, sat nav failures, protests, and acts of nature or any other means beyond our control. We recommend you have your mobile with you always in case we need to contact you.

*SNOW FALL POLICY* In the event of snowfall on your party date, we strongly advise you to contact your guests and cancel your party. Unique Kids Parties will happily transfer your party to an alternative date when it is safer to travel. Unique Kids Parties will contact you before we attempt to leave. If Unique Kids Parties are in safe position to begin travelling, we will try our best to reach you but with NO GUARANTEE OF ARRIVAL. Payments in this event will be taken over the telephone for the full party balance which would be NON-REFUNDABLE at this stage. Please note once our entertainers leave, full payment is charged and will not be refunded even if we do not reach you. We always recommend cancelling your party for the safety of your guests travelling and our entertainment team.

 

 Nerf Wars - Additional Terms & Conditions

All the above terms and conditions apply when booking a Nerf Wars party or any other party that includes Nerf Gun play.

Risk

Every player is responsible to keep him or herself safe and listen and follow instructions from our professional host always.

Safety goggles are provided to all players and all players must wear the safety goggles provided when instructed to do so. This is non-negotiable.

We are not responsible for any injuries sustained during the games. We are not responsible for any injuries caused to players or spectators during the whole duration of the party.

Each player is to take care of the equipment provided. Whilst we accept accidents, we reserve the right to charge for any broken or damaged equipment that has been caused by deliberate misuse.

We reserve the right to exclude any player from the games who is acting in any way that may cause danger to other players or damage to our equipment.

The policy holder is responsible to inform all the guest's parents or legal guardians the true format of the party and what their child or children will be taking part in.

All guest's play once permission has been given to the policy holder from their parent or legal guardians.

The policy holder fully understands and acknowledges that risks and dangers exist in the use of Nerf Equipment and all participation in the use or Nerf Equipment that from time to time accidents may occur. Participation in such activities and/or use of such equipment may result in injury or illness to one or all participants. Including but not limited to bodily injury, disease, strains, fractures, partial and total paralysis, eye injury, blindness, heat stroke, heart attack or other ailments that could cause serious disability or death. Unique Kids Parties are exempt from any liability for personal injuries or loss caused to any player, spectator or anyone else present during the party time and after.

 

Are you hiring Nerf equipment?

 

Terms and Conditions of Rental of equipment from UNIQUE KIDS PARTIES.

 

  • You [the Renter] must provide a signature for the rental agreement at time of drop off.

  • All rental items will always remain the exclusive property of UNIQUE KIDS PARTIES.

  • Charges will be determined based on the equipment and length of time rental items are in possession of the named renter based on the contract dates.  Any changes to the rental period will be by written agreement only with the owner or an employee of UNIQUE KIDS PARTIES.

  • You [the Renter] upon receipt of the equipment assumes all responsibility for the equipment rented and assumes all responsibility for any loss and/or damage to the equipment plus any related expenses. If rental equipment is returned to UNIQUE KIDS PARTIES in damaged condition or in disrepair, including missing parts, the renter will be responsible for repair costs, any parts and materials for repair, in addition to charges incurred for the rental period.

  • You [the Renter] are responsible for reading and following any special instructions or manufacturer instructions accompanying the rental items.

  • If you [the Renter] fails to release the items at the agreed date and time, UNIQUE KIDS PARTIES may repossess the items without notice to you [the Renter].

  • You [the Renter] releases UNIQUE KIDS PARTIES and its employees from any claims arising from such repossession. If repossession is not possible, UNIQUE KIDS PARTIES reserves the right to charge renter for full rental replacement value of rental items in addition to charges incurred for the rental period.

  • If the bag of darts provided by UNIQUE KIDS PARTIES is not filled to same amount as received or not returned with your other rental equipment, or are in an unusable condition as determined by UNIQUE KIDS PARTIES you will incur additional costs.

  • If any item or items are irreparable, lost or stolen, you [the Renter] is obligated to pay UNIQUE KIDS PARTIES the full retail replacement value. UNIQUE KIDS PARTIES reserve the right to charge renter for full retail value of rental items in addition to charges incurred for the rental period.

  • There will be an additional £100.00 deposit payable upfront upon receipt of rental equipment. This deposit will be used for any additional costs incurred during rental period as stated above. The £100 is payable to the UNIQUE KIDS PARTIES representative in cash on the day of rental, the deposit of £100 will be returned to you [the Renter] once equipment has been examined by UNIQUE KIDS PARTIES representative determining status of equipment.

  • You [the Renter] have examined the rental items and found them to be in good condition and

agree they will be returned in the same condition as received at the time and date of your rental. Failure to do so will incur additional charges. This means the deposit will not be returned and if the cost in damages to the items are in excess of the £100 then this will be charged back to you [the Renter].

Products Terms & Conditions

 

It is important you specify any corrections, amendments etc before approving your proof for printing.

 

We cannot be held liable for changes after this time and refunds cannot be issued due to the personalised nature of goods.

 

Please ensure you are happy with the colour’s, text, spelling, and picture quality before confirmation of print. Colour’s may vary slightly from your proof to your printed copy due to pc resolution differences and publication colours.

 

Once you have approved your proof for printing you are agreeing to our terms and conditions.

 

Your proof will be held on file for 60 days before being deleted.

 

A very small print of www.uniquekidsparties.co.uk may be printed on any envelopes included. This will be small print.

 

We try to ensure that all the items shown on the website are accurately represented however slight variations in colour, typefaces and layout may be experienced.

We endeavour to despatch the goods to you in perfect condition. However occasionally goods can be damaged in transit and we are keen to rectify any problem as quickly as possible.

We will offer to reimburse the price that you have paid for the product(s). Alternatively, if you call us immediately on the number shown in "Contact Us" we may offer to reprint and resend the product(s) free of charge.

All complaints will be acknowledged within 5 working days. We will endeavour to resolve any complaints within 14 days and keep you informed during the resolution process. Please note that your right to return items to us in accordance with these terms and conditions is in addition to any other statutory rights you may have.

 

Delivery Policy

Unique Kids Parties will aim to dispatch within the time frame stated on each individual listing to the delivery address provided, after the order process has been completed and the proof has been confirmed for printing. Orders will not be posted until they have been agreed via email. Delivery Schedules may vary. Unique Kids Parties cannot be held responsible for any delay in postage times from Royal Mail Services.

Non-delivery

Please allow up to 7 days for delivery from Royal Mail unless you have paid for a next day service. After this time please contact us for tracking of your order. Unique Kids Parties will only Re-print once for loss of personalised goods. Any subsequent loses will be chargeable for re-print. For non-personalised goods, such as party supplies and decorations, gifts etc., we will refund or replace lost or damaged goods.

Orders outside of the UK, please allow up to 14 days for delivery.

Cancellation / Return & Refund Policy

​

You may cancel your order at any time until you have confirmed via email that you agree for your goods to be printed & dispatched. Cancellation must be made within this period or within 14 days from order date.

Unique Kids Parties does not accept any returns of personalised goods as these are bespoke.

Refunds will not be issued for personalised services as the goods are bespoke and cannot be sold to a third party. Refunds will only be issued on agreement by Unique Kids Parties and customer due to fault from Unique Kids Parties service.

If you wish to return non-personalised goods (party supplies, decorations & gifts), you may do this within 7 days of receipt for a full refund. A refund will be processed within 3 working days upon receipt of returned goods. The customer is to pay for any postage costs incurred to return goods unless goods have been damaged in transit or agreed prior to return.
